Input box expanding out of screen when typing beyond its width

Hello!
I am using KildClient 3.2.1b on Windows 11.
When using the Multiline Input box, and typing beyond the window width, instead of the text going into a new line, the window expands horizontally. The text never goes to a new line if not temporarily. This also happens if the window is maximized; after it expands this way, it becomes impossible to resize it properly (and certainly not shrink it back to its ordinary size).
I have been trying to figure out this bug with no success; even changing Windows compatibility options doesn't seem to affect it.

Is anyone able to help?

I can't reproduce this widening behavior, However, I could reproduce the problem that when the text breaks to another line, the window width cannot be shrunk. I guess the two problems might be related.

I've released version 3.2.2 that fixes the "window cannot be shrunk" bug. Hopefully this also prevents the behavior you describe of the window width being increased when the text does not fit one line.

That does indeed seem to fix the issue. Thank you so much for the fix!
I will update if I encounter the bug again.
